Is a Laser quicker than a drill?
Depends on the procedure. Because a lot of common procedures done by the laser don’t need anesthesia, this can speed things up greatly. Usually everything done with the dental drill needs anesthesia which can slow down the treatment time by 15 – 20 minutes.
In other cases, the drill can still be a faster choice and sometimes the recommended choice by our dentists, but that all depends on the treatment being done. In some cases the drill and laser will both be used to get the best results possible.
