What Are Cerec Crowns?
Cerec Crowns are all-ceramic crowns that are tooth colored and can be completed in a single dental visit.
Using the high tech of 3-D Imaging and computers, our dentists are able to use a high tech camera and take digital pictures of your tooth. This picture is then loaded into the Cerec Computer System and the dentist
now has full control over customizing and shaping the crown to fit perfectly.
Once our dentist is finished creating the crown on the computer, the image is sent to the cerec milling machine. A ceramic block that matches your tooth shade is placed in the Cerec Milling Machine. About 10 – 20 minutes later, your all-ceramic, tooth-colored restoration is finished and ready to bond in place. There is no need for temporary crowns or return visits. It’s all done in a single appointment.
If you are ready to save time and get your crown done in one visit, give us a call at 916-721-3368 and we’ll be happy to get that done for you. Dr. Blair Moser and Dr. Hugh Charles are Cerec Certified Dentists so you will be in good hands.
